The Great Pyramids of Giza, located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt, are among the most magnificent and enduring symbols of ancient civilization. Built over 4,500 years ago during the Fourth Dynasty of Egypt’s Old Kingdom, these monumental structures were constructed as tombs for pharaohs and served as a testament to the power, engineering prowess, and religious devotion of the ancient Egyptians.
Built between 2609–2584 BC and completed around 2570 BC, the Pyramid of Khufu (also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza) is the oldest and largest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. As the first pyramid constructed among the three at Giza, it showcases the engineering genius of ancient Egypt.
Standing proudly beside the pyramids, the Great Sphinx is a legendary marvel, a colossal limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Khafre (ruled 2558–2532 BC). Towering at 20 meters (66 feet) high and stretching 73 meters (240 feet) long, this mythical creature has watched over the Giza Plateau for millennia. It features Pharaoh’s Face, Lion’s Strength, and the Dream Stele; Nestled between its massive paws, this inscribed slab was placed by Pharaoh Thutmose IV in 1400 BC, recounting a divine vision that promised him kingship if he restored the Sphinx.
The Valley Temple is an ancient Egyptian structure located near the Great Sphinx in Giza, serving as part of the funerary complex of King Khafre (Chephren) from the Fourth Dynasty (c. 2570 BCE). This well-preserved temple was a crucial site for the mummification and purification rituals of the pharaoh before his burial in the nearby Pyramid of Khafre. Built from massive blocks of red granite and limestone, the temple features a simple yet imposing design, with an entrance hall, columned courtyard, and niches that once held statues of the king.
The Grand Egyptian Museum, unveiled in 2023, stands as a majestic gateway to Egypt's 7,000-year legacy of innovation and splendor. Housing over 100,000 richly varied artifacts, this billion-dollar landmark invites visitors from around the globe to explore the ingenuity and artistry of ancient Egyptian civilization.
Next, you will have a lunch break as you will enjoy a tasty meal at a luxury restaurant in the city.
Commissioned by Pharaoh Djoser and designed by his visionary architect Imhotep around 2670–2650 BC, the Saqqara Step Pyramid stands as the world's earliest colossal stone monument. Rising through six stacked tiers to a height of 62 meters (203 feet), this groundbreaking funerary complex exemplifies ancient Egypt's architectural innovation and artistic grandeur.
Founded by Pharaoh Menes around 2925 BC following the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt, Memphis served as the nation's capital throughout eight dynasties of the Old Kingdom. Under the divine protection of Ptah, the creator-god of craftsmen, this storied metropolis flourished as the heart of ancient Egyptian civilization.
At the end of the day, you will be taken to Cairo Airport, where you will fly to Aswan City. After landing at Aswan airport, you will be transferred to a luxury hotel to check in overnight.

This massive structure was constructed to control the annual flooding of the Nile, provide water for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power, transforming Egypt's economy and agriculture.
During the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC), a magical monument was made to pierce the skies which were constructed as a giant Obelisk, "The Unfinished Obelisk" to represent the power and glory of the queen but the project was abandoned due to a crack in the rock of the obelisk.
Perched on an island in the Nile, the Philae temple was commissioned by Pharaoh Nectanebo I around 380–362 BC. Dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood and healing, its walls bring to life the timeless “Myth of Osiris.” As the last active sanctuary of ancient Egypt's divine cult, Philae remains a breathtaking testament to sacred worship and mythic storytelling.
