 The Great Pyramid of Khufu

Built around 2570 BC during Pharaoh Khufu's reign (2609 – 2584 BC), the Great Pyramid of Khufu stands as the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Composed of roughly 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.6 tons, it was meticulously aligned to the four cardinal points and originally reached a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft). Today, this monumental testament to Old Kingdom engineering continues to reveal its mysteries and inspire awe.

The Great Sphinx

Perched beside the Pyramids, the colossal Sphinx stretches 73 meters long and towers 19 meters high. Carved around 2558–2532 BC with the regal visage of King Khafre atop a lion's body, this timeless guardian has stood watch over the necropolis entrance for millennia.

Between 3100 BC and 2925 BC, King Menes founded the city of Memphis to announce a new era in Egyptian history. The city was the first Egyptian capital ever. It contains a lot of marvelous monuments and ruins as the temple of Hut-Ka-Ptah which changes the face of this immortal civilization.

The Saqqara Step Pyramid

The minister of Pharaoh Djoser, Imhotep, was the one who designed the Step Pyramid of Saqqara between 2670–2650 BC. The Pyramid was built of six steps of limestone and mud brick with a height of 62 m. The Saqqara Step Pyramid is considered one of the oldest Pyramids in Ancient Egypt, marking the golden age of pyramid construction.

Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Kings is an ancient burial site located at the heart of a mythical hill that resembles the Ben-Ben where the world was created. The valley contains more than 63 tombs belonging to members of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties such as  Seti I, Hatshepsut, Tutankhamun, Amenhotep I, Ramses the Great, and more; which are part of the New Kingdom ( 1570 - 1050). All the tombs are filled with unique treasures and artifacts that belong to Egyptian kings that reveal some of the most magnificent facts.

Hatshepsut Temple

Also called El Deir el-Bahari, Hatshepsut temple was built by the great female pharaoh queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) in 1479 BC and was dedicated to Amun who she acted as his priestess wife. The construction took 15 years to be completed and stands as the ultimate model for the classical architecture of the New Kingdom.

Edfu temple is a colossal preserved living wonder, which was the main worship house of the mighty god Horus. It was built between 237 BC and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic era. Ancient Egyptians strongly believed that the temple was built in the same location between Set and Horus.

The High Dam of Aswan is one of Egypt's most significant engineering marvels, completed in 1970 after a decade of construction. Located near Aswan on the Nile River, this massive structure was built to control flooding, provide water for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power, transforming Egypt's economy and agriculture.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (reigned 1508–1458 BC), this colossal monument was intended to grace the grand entrance of Karnak Temple. During its carving in the granite quarries of Aswan, builders discovered a critical fissure and were forced to abandon the project, leaving the world's largest known unfinished obelisk lying in situ as a testament to ancient Egyptian craftsmanship and ambition.

The Temple of Philae

The temple of Philae was built to honor the goddess Isis between 380-362 BC which makes it one of the last original temples to be made in Egypt. It served as one of the last sacred places where the goddess was worshipped and the cult of Isis continued there. It served as the provider of the original manuscript of the Myth of Osiris.

Nestled on the west bank of Lake Nasser, southwest of Aswan, near the Sudanese border, the Abu Simbel complex comprises two grand rock-cut temples commissioned by King Ramses II (reigned 1279–1213 BC). Carved into the sandstone cliffs in 1246 BC, the Great Temple honors Ramses II's victory at the Battle of Kadesh and is dedicated to the sun deities Amun, Ptah, and Ra-Horakhty. Adjacent stands the Temple of Hathor, built for Queen Nefertari as a beautiful tribute to royal partnership. Twice each year, on February 22 and October 22, the sun's rays penetrate the sanctuary to illuminate the inner statues, illustrating the precision of ancient Egyptian astronomy and engineering. Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque

Amr Ibn Al-Aas mosque can shed light on the innovation of Islamic architecture since it was first introduced in Egypt, it is considered the most Islamic legacy as it was the first mosque ever built in Egypt and Africa. It was built in 641 AD by the great Muslim commander Amr Ibn Al-Aas in the heart of old Cairo to become one of the biggest and most beautiful Islamic attractions.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

Before the 1950s, Ben Ezra Synagogue was considered the main religious center of the Jewish community in Egypt. The place used to be a church before it was converted in 882 AD. Inside is a collection of amazing works of art found in every inch of the Jewish temple.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a magnificent establishment made in 2020 in the beautiful beating heart of Fustat to shed light on the evaluation of this great civilization which spanned for over 7000 years across many dynasties revealing a collection of 50,000 artifacts and 28 royal mummies which each have a story to tell.

Al Muizz Street

Al Muizz Street is a colossal establishment filled with some of the most enchanting creations of medical Islamic art dating to 970 AD when this capital was first created. The Muizz is made of a combination of streets that forms a maze of golden treasures.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Khan El Khalili is a tremendous Bazaar spread across an old street that is decorated and paved in the Islamic style. The Bazaar was built between 1382 and 1389 AD featuring a lot of wonderful shops and Egyptian-style cafes.
